Founder and CEO Nikko Sanchez announced that Coach Hughes will be the team’s General Manager Wednesday, thereby allowing Sanchez to concentrate on other duties.
“I spoke with Coach Hughes and he agreed to it,” Sanchez reported. “Besides, he knows what kind of team we want to put together and I trust his judgement.”
The Chiefs don’t have a set date yet but they expect to announce plans for tryouts soon. They open their ABL season, the league’s first, in April.
