Houston, TX – The Houston Jets won’t have far to look for their closest rival.
That’s because the Texas Armour, the American Basketball League’s latest entry will also play in the popular city, albeit in a different sction of town. The Armour will play east of the 610 Loop. They are looking now for a gym, one that may be closer to downtown.
“We are actively reaching out to gyms with a couple of good possibilities,’ said Armour Founder and CEO David Templeton. Added ABL CEO Mac Claire, “I suspect Mr. Templeton is doing his due diligence and will choose the venue that best would suit his team’s needs.”
The ABL season starts this Spring.
